NOTE:  I have been using this knife for about a week now, so it is getting scratched and muddied up.  It doesn't look as bad (the blade) in real life.  I guess I will clean it and put up new pictures in the next few say.

I took a piece of steel, I cut out the metal to the rough shape of a tanto blade, and I just started sanding it.  I eventually got it to how I wanted so I made a handle out of some scrap walnut I found under my bench.  The steel was also scrap found in an old warehouse.
