Raspberry Pi Arcade Box
Since learning about the raspberry pi and all of the things you can do with it, i've been hooked. Especially the arcade systems you can build with them. In 2016 I built a retro arcade box and in 2017 I built a handheld game console. All were a blast to build and were very rewarding.
So here we are in 2018 and I wanted to build another one. This time I wanted to stick the arcade in a traditional wooden box that from the outside, looks like an ordinary wooden box. You would have no idea that if you lift the lid, you would find an arcade on the inside. 50 years from now this box will hopefully be a conversation starter for whoever owns it.
The box is made out of some beautiful curly cherry and was finished with shellac. The components that make up the arcade box are as follows(affiliate links below):
How to make an arcade box from a potato chip, wow that board was twisted.
Great job as always Sean.
Sure was. It was a pain in the ass to work with too. LUCKILY I was able to get it flat enough to use.
What a sweet build, and it looks great!
Thanks Lee!
