This Nakashima Conoid style chair is constructed of Sapele with a contrasting Ash seat, and Ebony dyed Hickory spindles. No plans for this chair were available, so the dimensions, and angles were scaled off of photos. Next, patterns and then a prototype were constructed to check for fit, before work was started on the actual chair. The Conoid chair is the perfect compliment to the live edge tables, which are so popular today.
