Dovetail Keepsake Box

After getting the Jonathan Katz-Moses dovetail jig, this was my first attempt at joining 4 boards together with dovetails. I'm extremely pleased with the results.
The box is all maple - the liner is thermally modified maple.

Very elegant. Perfect dovetail spacing. I like how you sleeved it but the sleeve isn't proud. I'll have to chew on that for one of my boxes. I don't like lids that slam however so I'll need to see if I can prevent that with the sleeve like that. A box like that deserves Brusso hardware. Inset handle is a nice touch! For your next box perhaps hidden dovetails for the front/back?
