Charcuterie Board w Inlay
Housewarming gift for a family member.

Fusion360 render.

I cut all the curves and handle holes on the CNC.

Makeshift veneer press - hastily assembled when I discovered I lost a key piece to my vacuum press AFTER I'd already applied glue.

Walnut veneer. 3/4 MDF substrate.

Bubinga veneer.

Prefer to use veneer on MDF for captive panels in miter frames so I don't need to account for wood expansion.

Cutting the corner splines - always the most stressful part of any miter frame build.

Finished. The inlay is a simple V-carve inlay done on a CNC.

Corner splines.

Finished
Looks great! I like the use of MDF like you mentioned above. Did you cut this veneer or buy it? Thanks for sharing
Thanks! I bought it from veneersupplies.com.
