After building the Nakashima inspired desk, I wanted to build a wall shelf that matched in style. So, I came up with this design. The shelf is 40 inches long and 10 inches deep. It's made out of cherry and finished with a coat of  boiled linseed oil and  several coats of a 1.5 pound cut of de-waxed garnet shellac.
