Silverleaf maple. I totally cut all of this, to include taking this massive branch off of the main trunk, with those pruning sheers you see on the right in the pic. Yep, totally. It was hard work too.

Maple. Stump sticking up is about 15 inches in diameter, about 4 foot tall.
