Made this nightstand for a friend. She requested to paint in herself, so I sanded it, but left it unfinished.

Material - poplar

Size - 24Hx15Lx13D

Poplar is second from bottom.

recently built this wood rack to replace crappier wood storage.

Gluing up the legs.

I'm always bad with progress photos. Skipped a few steps (panel glue up, dadoing, etc)

Here you can see the biggest mistake of the project. Lost focus during dadoing and wood drifted across the blade. Happy to say, no injuries except to the wood.

Again, forgot to take photos of the drawer being build its a standard finger joint box with face screwed on.

Second drawer in. I was nervous things wouldn't line up correctly. Just had to hand plane the edges a little and for like a charm.

Temporary knobs installed. The buyer has her own, but requested I drill the holes. I wanted to see what it looked like with knobs.

She also requested it remain unpainted as her and her fiancee wanted to paint it themselves. This saved me several hours which I'm happy about.

Very nice. Are the front legs curved/angled  outward at the top or is that just the camera or grain making it appear so?
