It is sealed with a teak oil and a topcoat of West Epoxy to help it last for many years as well.

The heavy sides feature a rope weave to create a seamless look and feel with the material and weave of the hammock itself. The long boards that tie the 2 sides together can be built longer or shorter as needed for your hammock size.
