Cigar Ashtray- Desert Ironwood

This is for the "other hobby" contest for /r/woodworking. It is a cigar ashtray made from desert ironwood and sealed with TruOil.
Mounted on the lathe to cut out the center
I cut the cigar rests by clamping a piece of walnut and using a Forstner bit in the drill press to channel down a semicircle in each piece.
