I've known Nikki since we were kids and today is her birthday. This is what I made for her.

The size is 7" x 4 3/8" x 3 3/4" high

1/2" thick Walnut for the sides and 1/4" Maple for the liner.

5/16" Tiger Maple for the lid panel and 1/4" Birch plywood for the bottom panel.

The mitered corners are keyed with walnut veneer but are nearly invisible.
