This project is perfect for the scrap you have piled up in the corner of your shop. For this guild build I will be focusing on a walnut box with a walnut burl veneered lid. To begin, I will show you how to flatten the veneer, how to glue the veneer to the substrate, how to pore fill the veneer and how to finish both the lid and the box. It's going to be a fun project that you can batch out in a couple of weekends and sell at a craft show or give away as gifts. I will be releasing the videos on November 18th, 2016. Until then, check out the supplies below so you can have them ready for when the videos are released.

Supplies Used:

• SuperSoft 2 veneer softener
• Titebond Cold Press Veneer Glue (affiliate link). You can also use hide glue for this task.
• Timbermate Wood Filler - Walnut (affiliate link). This is used for pore filling.
• 5/8" Horton Brasses Solid Brass Knob in antique finish
• All veneer used in this project was purchased from Veneer Supplies
