Two Bowls From One Piece Of Rambutan

Rather than trying to make one large piece from this I cut it in half and from one part made a traditional vessel and the other is a free-form bowl that incorporates live edges.

I love both of them, but that second one pictured is so cool! Nice work!
Thanks, this was my first attempt at a live edge / free form bowl and from folks I have shown it to either really like it or do not care for it. Personally I like the lack of symmetry in the piece but I understand the negative reactions. I will be posting more projects soon to this site.
