I had a wand sitting in a box and wanted a display for it.

I first cut the side pieces to 3/4" X 3/4" X 21"

I set miter gauge to 30 degrees and cut the ends off the sides.

I then set the saw to cut half laps and cut them out with the miter gauge still set at 30 degrees.

I made a template for the round pieces and follow the template, then sand it down with a spindle sander.

I glue them up.

I cut out the space for the wand and a key way to hang it from a screw.
