I love the clean lines of Mission style furniture. I was going to comment that since this is a prototype were you planning on your "production" table to have Cherry or another higher end hardwood but Mission style lends itself very well to Oak. Perhaps quartersawn Oak? 

I called it a prototype because I was playing with a bunch or design elements and things I haven't done before. So I wasn't worried about being to accurate given that it was all material that I milled from old tables. The next iteration would be quartersawn oak
