Customer’s son died in 9/11. He was a firefighter. He had build a deck for his mother that was torn down in 2005. Unable to part with it, the wood has been sitting on the side of her house for the last 14 years. The wood was prepared and stabilized using a coat penetrating epoxy on the top followed by tinted epoxy fills in the deeper voids. Many of the holes or blemishes that were otherwise stabile were left unfilled to maintain the rustic aesthetic.
