Prior to this piece I was never a fan of the mid century modern style, but it was requested by my sister.  I purchased a handful of beautiful air dried walnut pieces and went to work.  The case features grain wrapped miters with a significant chamfer on the front.  The drawer is poplar with mahogany dowels.  The legs were hand shaped using hand planes, a spokeshave, and files.  It is finished with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal satin.
