Rosewood And Ebony Nightstand Box

A small nightstand box made from zebra, Gabon ebony, Honduran Rosewood and quartersawn white oak. Finished with blonde shellac.

Lid profile during shaping. This was done with a combination of different hand tools.
Chisels, card scrapers, compass plane and spokeshave were used.

Wow, that box is very nice! Other than the white oak, I've not used any of those species. They work very well together. Thank you for sharing!
