Dry fit of the case.

And now with the back panel installed.

I used spray adhesive to attach the felt to the back panel.

And now a test fit with the felt attached. 

Prefinishing the inside faces of the sides before glue up so i dont have to worry about any finish on the felt.

One of the sides blew out at the mortise for the domino.

Thankfully I was able to repair the blow out.

Dry fit of the door frame inside of the case and trimming to even up the gaps. I intentionally made the door slightly oversized so that I could trim and plane it to fit.

The knob ended up needing to be shorted. I used a finish nail cut to size and epoxied into the knob and door frame.

I used a french cleat to mount it to the wall which worked great. 

Inset rare earth magnets in the door frame and case side to register the door in the proper position.
