I made this Dining room table as the first big project for my wife and i after we got married...it was a great learning experience and is made of 2x4 and 2x8 construction grade lumber 

the legs are 4x4 construction lumber and the aprons are mortise and tenon joinery, i also used lap joints and made traditional breadboard ends for the table top
