Cribbage Board

I was inspired by the r/woodworking firewood challenge to make this cribbage board as a gift after a weekend in the woods. It was a good experience learning to mill a board. Also, since the wood was too short for machinery, I had to prep the stock by hand for the first time.
Finished with mineral oil and beeswax. First time using that finish and wanted to experiment. I ordered the pegs on amazon.
I printed out a hole pattern I made using CAD. I used a punch to mark the center of the holes.
I then used a drill press to drill the holes.
Using a router table I cut a sliding dovetail groove to store the pegs.
Here the dovetail key is removed, and you can see how the pegs are hidden.
