The snare drum project started as a combination of two of my favorite hobbies; woodworking and drumming. I happened to have enough small scraps for one drum, so I figured i would make it as a prototype, and it worked! I do not own any major shop equipment, such as a lathe, so all of the final shaping and rounding was done by hand.
