Crusty Old Set Gets New Life And New Home
A friend of mine was going to throw out an old wooden swing set that had suffered over a decade of neglect. I decided it was about time my kids, 1 & 3yo, had a swing set of their own.
After disassembling the set I planed and stained the boards I would need. I replaced the floors, roof, and supports with PT lumber. When all was said and done I had some extra cedar boards and uses those to build an outdoor planter.

The old neglectef swing set I started with. Most of the wood turned out to be salvageable, unfortunately the roof was not.
