Thanks! I like to draw attention to the joint rather than pretending it isn’t there on a lot of projects I do, which serves two purposes: 1) detailed style and 2) creates some buffer for things to not line up perfectly over time without looking “off”. And it’s a fun reason to bust out the block plane after doing most of the work with power tools! :)
