Hardwood Bunk Bed
Poplar and Sapele Bunk Bed for my daughters, mortise and tenon joinery on all of the separate pieces, assembled as 7 separate pieces with lag bolts. Ash for the ladder rungs and the shelves on the other side.
Made back in July from my own plans, ended up quite similar to Marc's but how many ways are there to make a bunk bed... The girls originally requested the bed to be white to match the lower bunk so I got poplar, but it ended up with nice figure when I planed it so they decided they liked a clear coat more.
The shelves are now full of stuffed animals and bed time books.
I also made the platform bed a few years ago for the lower bunk.
