White Oak And Walnut Desk Box

This desk box has open storage above for an ink blotter, two ink bottles, and fountain pen. The bottom section takes up the full depth of the case and is intended to store documents and letters.
The lid has an endgrain inlay that was cut from the glue up before it was resawn. The joinery is all done by hand with the exception of the sliding dovetails. Finished with oil and wax.
