This has been on my list of things to build for way too long. A secret compartment with a hidden activation key and a little more storage than the last one.
DP - great build! Really appreciate the timelaps videos.
I was gifted some very nice 1x10x8' walnut planks and a 10" thick maple branch (just missed the house). I'd like to build something similar. Guessing your boards are 3/8 or 1/2 thick & dimensions of box are 8x6x6 - with about an inch thickness for the bottom slot? Relatively close?
Sorry for the delayed response. It's 12" x 7" x 7" roughly and the sides are a little over 5/8", the top is a little over 1/2" and the compartment is 3/4". The maple liner is around 1/4" I built two more, slightly smaller, but similar boxes and had no issues scaling them down a little.

I enjoyed every minute of the video. The box is awesome!
This is absolutely amazing, great work.
