I made a set of dining chairs. A family member wanted some chairs that were similar to an old Chicago Board of Education chair. It was made in oak and was vaguely arts and crafts.

I made a prototype out of construction lumber which has been my daily work-from-home and eating chair. I refined the design a little based on comfort, and proceeded with the rest of the chairs.

They're joined with mortise and tenons throughout. The family member wanted them dark to match a dining table, so I stained them even though it pained me to do so.
