Not nearly finished. I want to put a profile on the top and maybe add an accent strip of maple or something in the center of the top. Probably going to go with a spray lacquer finish since this is just an experiment box.

These aren't handcut dovetails.  I built this box to test my newly acquired (at the time) dovetail jig.  There were many gaps all over the joints but custom wood putty made with the oak sanding sawdust worked well to hide most of the smaller defects.
