Art Deco Inspired Occasional Table
Art Deco inspired occasional table that I designed. Built using maple and wenge.

Original concept drawing.

From concept to creation.

Cleats to attach the top with elongated holes to allow for wood movement (expansion and contraction of the top).

Bad lighting in my shop. :-(

A table on a table. :-)

My brand/signature which is applied to every piece I make. It is a branding iron with my signature on it and "handcrafted" intertwined below.

Glued up and finished top.

The best wax EVER!!!!

Wenge inlay and cuffs in the maple legs. Wenge is jet black and nice but it has got to be the worst wood in the world to work with. Very very splintery and brittle.

Wow, so much detail in this one that I bet I will see something new every time I look at it. Lovely work. I really like the fact that you use amazing exotics in your builds.
