This was for my daughters birthday. I did mock glueups maybe five or six times. I used a slow setting epoxy to give me more time but it still was a rush to finish. I sprayed it with lacquer for the finish. I think it turned out pretty nice and my daughter liked it so everything is okay. 

I used Ash to make the basket except for the bottom and that is 1/4" ply.
