Nice! I would suggest some sort of "lip" for both the bottle area and the area below (which I assume is for glasses) that keeps the bottles and glasses from sliding out. Possibly even a fitted hole/recess? Also higher end bourbon's have a cork which should be stored on its side (like wine). I'd love to see a detailed close-up of the glass inset to the door if you have one.
Awesome! Thanks for the suggestions. I like the idea of the lips
Thanks. Why would the top sag? From moisture or just the weight of objects. 1” thick ash is tough stuff. I’m new to woodworking so this is helpful. Thank you
Beautifully done. Love me some hand cut dovetails👌🏻. This is great inspiration for my MidCentury modern coffee table that will have some of the same joinery.

Thanks Justin. The box made of Ash and finished in a cherry stain and general finishes Arm-R-Seal.

Thank you so much. I like the idea of a hidden support. That was my initial thought but the wife liked the cleaner more open look.

Prototype Table
looks great! If that’s the prototype I can’t wait to see the real deal.
