Custom designed curly maple nightstand set with walnut spline accents.  You will fined clean straight lines all over this piece.  The figure really pops due to the Arm-R-Seal finish.  Each board was hand planed to thickness, and the 18” shell was mitered using a custom shootingboard.  The drawers were constructed with curly maple fronts and popolar sides, back, and bottom.  The drawer components were joined using hand cut dovetails.  Simple flat black metal knobs finish this piece off.  This was piece was commissioned by my wife, and will be part of a bedroom set that will include a walnut dresser and hard maple vanity.
