Walnut Jewelry Box

This Walnut Jewelry Box is made from veneer as well as solid wood. It took me approximately 12 hours to complete and is an anniversary gift for my girlfriend of one year. The box is made from two pieces of 1/2" plywood cut to the shape and then given depth using stretchers. The body was filled out using rubber-ply and veneer.
