This was a scrapwood experiment with a leftover copper T, a piece of Delrin, and some padauk & ipe. The T fitting is filled with BB's & sawdust to keep them from rattling. It's an ugly little mallet about 8" tall and not very heavy but surprisingly handy for delicate work. The wood and plastic faces are epoxied and pinned (I placed the pins after taking the photo).
