Purple heart that is 1" thick, on a scroll saw, SUCKS!!! I used a "thick wood" blade and it was still VERY slow. the blade wandered a lot
Gluing the keys
Keys in, but not sanded
Not dremeled out yet.
Dremeled a relief to improve the sound on the lower tones.
Sanding fixes SO much

Looks great! Love the wood choice.
Thank you. They say the denser wood sounds better, but I'm not sure that is the case with the Purple Heart. But, when stained and oxidized, the Purple Heart looks beautiful.
