This toy was built for my daughter as part of the reddit /woodworking toy contest. The plans were originally published in the Nov / Dec 1943 issue of the Deltagram (Delta Tools In-house woodworking magazine). I enlarged the pattern to scale, and used a scrollsaw to cut out all on the parts. The body of the toy is poplar, and the wheels and monkey are red oak that I scavenged from my firewood pile. Finished in boiled linseed oil.
