I live in North Dakota and am a full time teacher and part-time woodworker. Thanks for stopping by! I hope to start posting more projects here again. Follow me on Instagram to see more behind-the-scenes updates!
That looks like a GREAT setup! Ultimately, I think your set up will ultimately be dictated by what works for you and your workflow. I'm not sure what your set up is like, and how much trouble it would be, but any thoughts to building a small bathroom-perhaps on the other side of the doorway that the finishing room is? Maybe put in a slop sink depending on room? My biggest hassles in my current shop are having to go into the house to use the restroom, and having to go outside to deal with finishes, messes, etc. Again, that is only MY inconveniences, and your mileage may vary. That looks like a GREAT setup!

Great video, Guy! Very clear instructions, and the pacing was very good! I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this Guild project!
Great tutorial! I love the trick with the scrap- that cleanup step is the part that I probably had the most trouble with the one time I ever tried half-blind dovetails. I think I may need to start cutting some more of them when I unpack my shop . . .
I love the look of this project. It is many of the things I love rolled into one awesome project-- asian influence, dovetails, walnut, bookmatching, and quilted maple. What more could a person ask for?! Great job, Sean!
Thank you, Sean! I love the smell of it as well! It also seems like there are very few days AND nights where I can woodwork with my garage door open. This project was built during one of our warmest times of the year. That's especially becoming apparent recently-- it got up to a balmy 9° today!

Thank you, Sean! I'm hoping to make many more entries in 2016. I love Walnut as well. This was my first time using it.
