This box and the spittoon bowl are both from the same wood. It was a pool-side cheapo bar that had been a gift years ago. Damn thing was cheap, but solid wood. Probably Pier 1 or similar in origin. Might be teak, I honestly have no idea. This is a Danish oil finish and nothing else.

Bowl and box are about the same size. 

I added a few coats of General Finishes urethane top coat.

And a razor set that was commissioned. Wood is bradford pear.
