Oak Mallet
This is an oak mallet I made following the method on Paul Sellers' YouTube channel. Unfortunately I didn't really stop to take progress pictures, but the full process can be found on YouTube. The head is made from scrap Tasmanian Oak from a discarded table, and the handle is spare red oak from a previous project.

Handle was shaped using a spokeshave and taking care to work with the grain to avoid tear-out.

The handle is secure in the head by a wedge tightly fitted. I did not want mine to have a removable handle so I decided to go with using the wedge.
