Walnut box and bowl
Walnut, bowl is about 3 inches in diameter. From a branch, I just wanted to get some bowl gouge time in.
Same walnut branch, smaller than the bowl.
This is the beginning of the bowl. I was hoping that the cancerous looking lump on the tail stock would have some great grain patterns.
But no, what it had was a rot-y void.
Left and right of center for top and bottom of box, respectively.
Obviously I need work on getting the tool marks out.
