Sycamore. Middle piece is 8-9" or so. I have not measured.

Sycamore shaving. I had some that came off that were about 2' long. Sort of like skinning the apple all in one long go.

Walnut blanks. About 4" in dia. Cut from a log about 8" in dia, I snagged this log from a downed tree because of the weird looking "eyes" you can see in the lower right blank on its side.
