Bowl and a piece of the driftwood. No idea what type of wood this is / was.

And the inside of the bowl. It's about 4" across at the rim.

Not the greatest of finishes. Finish itself is Danish oil, and this stuff soaked it up like crazy. The wood ...yeah, a fair bit of tear out. I was not too concerned about that though as I wanted to just get an idea of how this stuff turned. I have another couple of chunks, so this was my test piece. The dips in the rim are remnants of the curvature of the wood.
