2017 Workshop Contest

The theme of this contest is to build something for your workshop. That can range from wall cabinets, to workbenches, to jigs and much more! If it's something made for the shop, you can enter it for a chance to win.

I've had several people ask me if they can submit projects already completed before the start of the contest. You absolutely can. A lot of these projects take well over 2 months for those of us that don't do this full time so it's not reasonable for us to ask you to build something as elaborate as a workbench in 2 months. So go dig through your photos and upload your workshop projects!

Official Rules

  • You must document your work here on SimpleCove.com with either build photos and descriptions or a build video. With more and more people uploading build videos to YouTube, we will allow build videos but you must upload photos of the final project(minimum of 3 photos).
  • You must be a SimpleCove.com member and at least 18 years of age at the time of the entry. 
  • You can enter as many projects in to the contest as you like, but only one prize per person will be awarded.
  • Prizes are restricted to participants living in the US and Canada (Quebec Excluded).
  • The contest begins 12:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 and entries for the contest must be published no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

How To Enter

To enter for the contest, sign up for an account on http://www.simplecove.com and click the “Share Project” button at the top of the page and fill out the form. You must document your work  with either build photos and descriptions or a build video. With more and more people uploading build videos to YouTube, we will allow build videos but you must upload photos of the final project(minimum of 3 photos).
